Laura Daniusevičiūtė-Brazaitė is an associate professor at KTU Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. The research directions of the researcher are educology and public health. L. Daniusevičiūtė-Brazaitė has obtained a doctoral degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Lithuanian Sports University. Areas of scientific research – neuroeducation, cognitive functions of a person: concentration of attention, short-term and working memory, physical activity and general working capacity.

KTU associate professor in 2020 participated in the “Continue!” project, financed under the measure of the 2014-2020 EU funds investment action program “Improving the qualifications of teachers and other employees of the education system”. Project goal – to improve student achievements by providing support for effective changes in general education institutions.

Analysis of the national agricultural and food quality system and preparation of recommendations for improvement

The attitudes of parents and teachers towards the development of pre – school children ‘s health competence

in 2021 L. Daniusevičiūtė-Brazaitė led the project “The attitudes of parents and teachers towards the development of pre – school children ‘s health competence” financed by EU structural funds. The aim of the research was to determine the health literacy of pre-school teachers and parents according to the levels and their attitude to the development of health competence.

The influence of game programs on the motor skills of preschool children

L. Daniusevičiūtė-Brazaitė led the “The influence of game programs on the motor skills of preschool children” project (2020-2021). The aim of the project was to determine the need for animated game programs and the risk factors that influence the motor skills of 5-7 year old children. According to the motor skill assessment indicators, during the project, correlations between the indicators for determining the need for game programs in the educational process and risk factors influencing the formation of (im)proper motor skills were sought.
