The SustAInLivWork team is pleased to announce the SustAInLivWork Annual Summit 2026: Crossing Domains through the AI Cluster, which will take place on 17 September 2026 at Vytautas Magnus University, V. Putvinskio St 23–414, Kaunas, Lithuania.
Bringing together experts and leaders from academia, industry and the public sector, the Summit will explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming different domains and creating new opportunities for cross-sector collaboration. This year’s programme places a particular focus on connecting expertise, ideas and organisations through the emerging AI Cluster and strengthening Lithuania’s AI innovation ecosystem.
Throughout the day, speakers from universities, businesses, public institutions, associations and international networks will share insights and practical perspectives on the economic impact of AI and its applications across areas including data and services, energy management, defence and security. The programme will also feature international experience from Finland’s SIX Cluster, demonstrating how collaboration and cluster-based ecosystems can accelerate innovation and create lasting impact.
A key highlight of the Summit will be the presentation of the AI Cluster, followed by a panel discussion exploring how clusters and associations can contribute to the development and responsible adoption of ethical AI. The discussion will bring together representatives from leading Lithuanian technology, AI, business and cluster organisations to exchange perspectives on collaboration, innovation and the future of the AI ecosystem.
The programme will conclude with a Brokerage Event, offering participants an opportunity to meet potential partners, exchange ideas and identify new possibilities for research, innovation and business collaboration.
The Summit forms part of SustAInLivWork, a Horizon Europe initiative working to establish a Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Living and Working and to strengthen research, innovation and collaboration between Lithuania and international partners.
The second day of the Summit, 18 September, will be reserved exclusively for SustAInLivWork project partners and stakeholders.
