KTU successfully cooperates with business partners and has trained many start-ups. University has a good basis for ideas development because of its excellent reputation in Lithuania. Social partners are involved in all processes of  study programmes development, quality assessment, and quality improvement according to their level of competence. They are also members of the faculty council, study programme committees, and qualification commission. Employers take part in the teaching of individual study subject topics in the programme and the student assessment process. They can also provide topics for the semester, product development project, and the final project. Partners often provide opportunities for final projects and research work.
